Santa Lands at Gentle Harvest + Holiday Cookie Decorating

Santa Claus is coming to Gentle Harvest! Sign up today for our FREE Santa photo opp using your own device. 

During the event, kids and kids at heart can decorate a set of shortbread and gingerbread holiday cookies, with our Executive Pastry Chef Katie for only $5. 

The day of the event, guests are welcome to drop-in anytime between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Photos will be taken on a first come first serve basis. Locke's Mill Holiday Grind Fest

Saturday, December 7, 11am - 4pm


Enjoy bread-making demonstrations and bakery tastings with flour produced at Locke’s Mill, Rye Whiskey tastings, door prizes and seasonal specials. Children will become junior millers for the day and assist with production of flour they will then take home.

The historic mill's traditional, historical processing facilities have recently been upgraded and will showcase newly installed, era-appropriate equipment including a new line-shaft, rail-trolley, roller and bolter. The history of milling and the nutritional advantages of stone-ground, fresh flours will be featured.

Holiday Parades

Saturday, December 7
Featuring The Ayrshire Farm Shire Horses

The Marshall Parade starts at 10 am and will run right past Gentle Harvest so make sure you stop in for hot coffee and treats!
Santa closes out the Middleburg Parade riding an Ayrshire Farm antique carriage pulled by the Shires. Parade starts at 2 pm.

Bûche de Noël Cake Decorating Class

Saturday, December 21
1 - 3 PM, Gentle Harvest 2nd Floor

Aspiring bakers are invited to join Pastry Chef Katie for a Bûche de Noël Decorating Class. Participants will learn how to make the iconic French Christmas dessert and will be given a pre-rolled yule log to decorate with ideas and inspiration provided by Chef Katie. Reservations must be made minimum 72 hours before the class date. Class is limited to 12 attendees.

Cost is $55 per person
