COVID-19 Response


To Our Valued Customers,

We’re here for you! Our team is busy filling orders and getting them out without delay. It is a privilege to be able to ship meat nationwide as well as to provide meat, groceries, and wine to local customers for contactless pick up at our drive-thru window. 

Rest assured that we’re keeping a close eye on COVID-19-related recommendations, requirements, and challenges. We wanted to let you know a little bit about what that means.

We're taking great precautions to insure the safety of you and your family. Specifically, for those buying meat, it may be helpful to know that our proteins are born and raised in the U.S.A. on our own Ayrshire Farm and carefully selected partner farms. All meat is processed through own our facility in Virginia, where we continue to adhere to stringent hygiene and safety standards. This applies to every inch of our plant, including public and office environments as well as processing rooms.

Beyond these measures, we have implemented the following responses to COVID-19:

  • Non-essential personnel are working from home.
  • We’ve created even more strict guidelines keeping employees from coming to work if they are sick or a family member is sick.
  • We’ve created even more frequent cleaning schedules for equipment, surfaces, walls, and floors.
  • We’ve instructed any employees who are concerned about leaving their homes for any reason to shelter at home if they wish; they may utilize our paid leave benefits.

Our focus has always been and continues to be on providing safe and healthy food using exacting standards. Our dedication to that principle remains steadfast.
